i'm sure everyone is wonder what the heck is "wubby wednesday", well wubby is what i call brody. i kind of got name of calling him 'wubby' after saying 'chubby wubby' one day. okay okay, i know that sounds horrible..but brody is no light weight child. he's already 4 months old and i'm sure close to 21-22lbs, um usually from what i keep hearing that's the size of a one year old. i seriously, do not get how a baby that big was surgically removed from my abdomen (brody was born c-section since yes, he had a really large head, i'm tiny and he was also "op" which is opposite posteriori, meaning he was face up instead of face down). either way, wubby wednesday is just a bunch of photos of his week so far and what he's been getting into, which hasn't been much this week since we haven't been doing much!
sunday, all brody wanted to do was either lay on the floor and yell as loud as he possibly could, or sit in his bumbo seat and play with his eric carl lizard, it's super cute from his kolh's collection. i recommend anyone who is having a baby, planning too, whatever, invest in a bumbo seat. they're about $35 at target but totally worth it! brody loves his.
monday involved more laying on the floor but seth decided to lay with him and talk to him and play with him most of the day. it's kind of sweet too me how much brody loves to play with his dad.
and today, being wednesday! we ventured out to meet my dad at lobster shanty for lunch. it's this delish seafood restaurant right on the indian river lagoon. occasionally out of their windows you can see dolphins playing, sadly this time there was none. instead, my dad decided to give brody a spoon to play with. this is what he did with it, it was either being stared at intently or he was putting it in his mouth. it's interesting the simple pleasures in life that make a baby happy, instead of constantly buying him new toys to play with.
